Long-term Support
For older people who need a permanent home with help available throughout the day and night, in a safe and comfortable environment.
A calm, homely setting for older people who want everyday support, companionship, and confidence around the clock.
Residential care at Abbey supports older people who may no longer feel safe or confident living alone, or who would benefit from consistent help with daily routines. It is different from nursing care: residential care does not include 24-hour clinical nursing, but our staff are trained to a high standard and registered nurses are on-call where needed.
Care is built around assessed needs, with dignity, choice and familiar rhythms at the centre of everything we do

For people who feel isolated at home and would benefit from the friendship, routine and shared activities that come from living in a warm community setting.

For families who want reassurance around meals, personal care, medication prompting and general wellbeing — without the need for full nursing-level clinical oversight.

From first enquiry to settling in, our residential care is designed to feel clear, calm, and deeply personal for residents and families.
Speak to Our TeamBefore a resident arrives, we take time to learn their life story — hobbies, routines, family history, food preferences, faith and the daily habits that make life comfortable.
The first weeks in a new home can feel unfamiliar. Our team supports each resident to build familiar rhythms and form new friendships at a pace that feels natural.
Care plans are reviewed regularly and updated as needs change. Families are always informed and invited to contribute.
See our rooms, speak to our team, and get every question answered — at a pace that suits your family.
